Inspired by my travels, I have been posting many of my own foodie creations to Instagram. Now with so many people asking for the ski food recipes, I created a new blog series featuring an apres ski recipe of the week. This week's apres ski recipe is nachos topped with smoked Buffalo chicken and blue cheese beer sauce.
Grizzly's, the famous bar at the base of Stratton Mountain offers up a variety of nachos platters, all of which a piled high with delightful goodies. In this video, I sit down with their traditional chicken nachos and, let's just say, they don't disappoint.
This episode of apres eats, Rich Stoner from All About Apres makes his braised short rib nachos. Taking a regular nacho dish that he had at apres ski, he adds braised shorts ribs that were smoked on the Traeger pellet grill and tops the nachos with heaping mounds of cheddar cheese, tomatoes, scallions and avocados.
