Leaving Peek n Peak Resort our journey continued just a short distance away in Chautauqua county at Johnson Winery, Mazza Chautauqua Cellars and Five and 20 Spirits and Brewing. There we received tours and tastings at New York's oldest estate winery and New York's first ever combination winery, distillery and brewery.
At only 400 feet of vertical, Peek n Peak isn't exactly big mountain skiing. This, however, doesn't seem to matter much to the regulars. The terrain is still fun and the people are more there for for a combination of drinking and skiing. Highlighted by three on-mountain bars you'll find an apres ski scene where people ski and snowboard from one bar to the other.
