Holiday Valley Resort and the accompanying Village of Ellicottville is special. Magical may even be a better word to describe it. I visited there last winter for the first time and vowed to return with my family. Holiday Valley, one of NY State's largest ski resorts has a unique layout with a variety of terrain that is fun for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities. This is enhanced by the beautiful lodges that provide an excellent apres ski scene and its close proximity to Ellicottville, one of the East's only ski towns.
