Après ski in Aspen has a reputation in the ski world for being a bit opulent. However, Aspen Brewing Company is seeking to change that. With a laid back vibe, tasty craft beer and one of the best views in town, they have become one of the best après ski bars in Aspen.

My Five Favorite Après-Ski Beers From This Ski Season

I love sampling new craft beers while chilling at the bar in the lodge at a ski resort. It's where I do my best research. However, this ski season, I was forced off campus to find new and enticing craft beers. So as I trade in my ski pants for board shorts and shift from après-ski to après-surf, here is a look back at my five favorite après-ski beers from the winter of 2020-2021.

If I'm being honest, I'm not a gin drinker. Sorry Snoop Dogg, LOVE the song but gin and juice just really isn't my thing. Maybe it's because I was raised on Tanqueray and Seagram's where the taste of juniper is so overwhelming. Seriously, it smacks you right in the face like a rogue branch when you're skiing the trees. That said, many of the new age gins are a far cry from the OGs (original gins) that we grew up on and may just change your mind.
