He plans to celebrate by skiing Snowbird on July 5, 2017, with Ski Utah

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH (June 12, 2017) – George Jedenoff, a resident of California has been traveling to Utah to ski Little Cottonwood Canyon (Alta and Snowbird) every year since 1960. George learned how to ski at Alta when he was 43 and claims it was the best decision he has ever made. He is a remarkable man who draws his true happiness from the slopes and has become an inspiration to the Utah ski community.

Ski Utah met George back in 2013, when he was 95, and produced our first video together. A great friendship was developed through the annual ritual of skiing together and with each video creating greater reach and excitement every year (see below for all five videos).
In lieu of a fantastic snow year in Utah, Ski Utah with Snowbird have invited George back out to Utah for his 100th Birthday on July 5, 2017, so he can celebrate his centennial in true form by skiing.
Ski Utah’s most recent video with George Jedenoff from this past season at the age 99, titled ‘Happiness’, which reflects on the happiness skiing has given him throughout his life, will be honored at the 3rd Annual Wasatch Mountain Film Fest on Monday, June 19, 2017, 7:00 p.m., at the Park City Library (1255 Park Ave, Park City, UT 84060).
