Denver, Colo. – November 18, 2016 – As guests get ready to the head to the high country for the Thanksgiving Holiday and ski areas around the state prepare to open, Mother Nature blanketed resorts across Colorado with up to 13 inches of snow.

Copper Mountain opened for the season today with an 18 inch base and 6 inches of fresh powder. Arapahoe Basin and Loveland are also open for the season with guests enjoying 7 inches of snow this morning at each resort.

At Sunlight and Telluride 6 inches fell in the last 24 hours, while Cooper, Monarch Mountain and Powderhorn all welcomed 5 inches.
