Dale of Norway, the official sweater of the Norwegian national teams and purveyor of fine ski and après ski clothing will be out in full force during the first FIS Ski World Cup race on the east coast in 38 years. Killington is set to host this historic event and Dale of Norway will have everyone looking good whether they are watching the world's best skiers schuss down Superstar at high speeds or listening to OAR play at the ultimate après ski party.
The weekend festivities kicks off on Friday from 3:00 to 3:45 at Killington Sports where Dale of Norway will host a meet and greet with some of Dale of Norway's top athletes. National Norwegian Alpine Ski Team members, Ragnhild Mowinckel and Nina Loeseth will be on hand to sign autographs while raffles are held for the chance to win some really sweet Dale of Norway products.
On Saturday, Dale of Norway will, once again, be at Killington Sports to host a "Celebration of World Cup History" from 1-6pm. This event will include displays of current and past Dale of Norway athletes wearing their signature Dale of Norway sweaters. Since Dale of Norway has been the official sweater of National Norwegian Alpine Ski Team since 1956 this should be a pretty epic display. You will also have the opportunity to purchase your own Dale of Norway apparel and be a part of more raffles to win tremendous prizes.
As the first FIS World Cup race descends on the east coast for the first time in 38 years, Dale of Norway is poised to have everyone styling throughout the weekend. With two terrific events lined up, it is a sure bet that you will see some really awesome Norwegian themed sweaters. And, since Dale of Norway is my personal favorite après ski sweater, you know that I'll be rocking my new Viking Sweater while I hang out in Norwegian style all weekend.
