Ahhhhh...the 80's. What a great decade for mountain culture? Highlighter bright colors, jackets with shoulder pads or, better yet, a onesie, straight skis the length of picnic tables, pit viper sunglasses, big hair flowing in the wind as you raced down the mountain. Yup, 80's skiing was spectacular and so was the après with its cheap light beer, snow bunnies and classic sweaters. I could go on and on about what defined this generation on the mountain however, I'll spare you an even longer list of details. and just encourage you to watch the movie Hot Dog. Then when you are finished, head over to Five Boroughs Brewing this Saturday and experience it for yourself as Hop Culture is celebrating this iconic generation with a 1980's Après-Ski Party.

There will even be a special collab beer between Hop Culture and your hosts Five Boroughs Brewing. With this much beer, I'm sure the ski stories will be flowing along with the beer and will only get better as the day goes by.
