Winter Park Resort has made a call this winter to all mountain goers encouraging them to #ventureout. Upslope Brewing, on the other hand, has always urged their craft beer drinkers to celebrate all activities through their #apreseverything mantra. This sounds like a match made in heaven. So it should come as no surprise that Winter Park and Upslope have partnered this winter to revamp the ski resort's signature ski beer, Mary Jane Ale. And, this exclusive après everything beer is currently available on all mountain and resort owned taps.
Winter Park's Commitment to Featuring Great Craft Beer Continues
Winter Park Resort has always been known for offering the finest craft beers in the restaurants and bars throughout their mountain. Their collaboration with Upslope is just another example of their commitment to craft beer excellence. It also, happens to be the perfect partnership thanks to both brands shared loved for outdoor adventure.
“Our guests seek out and ask for a variety of craft beer after an exhilarating day of mountain exploration. They’re unique and want options that match their unique tastes,” said Liz Agostin, Winter Park Resort marketing director.
New Mary Jane Ale is Refreshing and Approachable
The original Mary Jane Ale has been around for a while and was actually a collaboration with craft beer giant, New Belgium Brewing. However, in an effort to shake things up, Winter Park sought out Upslope to reimagine this iconic ski beer. After months of trial and error, Upslope delivered a highly sessionable pale ale that is ideal after a day on the mountain.
With Colorado-grown and Munich malted barley along with U.S.-grown Azacca and Cascade hops, Mary Jane Ale is a perfect balance of hoppiness and refreshment with a hint of ripe fruit. Refreshing and approachable, its notes of citrus is something that skiers and snowboarders will absolutely crave when they come off the mountain.
“Partnering with Winter Park to create Mary Jane Ale, the quintessential Après Everything beer, has been an ideal alliance,” said Matt Cutter, co-founder of Upslope Brewing Company. “It’s a great alignment of our two brands, and we’re excited to bring our customers and Winter Park guests an exclusive, refreshing beer to top off a day of mountain adventure.”
Like I said, a match made in heaven. Cheers!
