Only a few short months ago, the white stuff was still dumping and I found myself researching ski towns that were home to some amazing breweries. It was at that time that I stumbled upon a blog post on All About Beer, written by Brian Yaeger, a friend and renowned beer journalist, that spoke very highly of Truckee's Fifty Fifty Brewing. Highly intrigued, I reached out the owners of Fifty Fifty to see if they would be interested in doing an interview and craft beer review for All About Après and they willingly obliged. Working feverishly, I was able to post the fascinating interview prior to the end of ski season in the Lake Tahoe region (it may actually be still going on) while learning that balance is the key to their success in the notorious skiers' playground of Truckee.

At the time I had every intention of including the beer review in the piece but decided to up the ante and shoot a video with my good buddies over at Ski Bum Podcast. However, due to conflicting schedules and one of the bums stint on the wagon for the month of April, we were never able to make it happen...until now. And a week ago we hunkered down in a basement in Rumson, NJ to drink some tasty après ski beers from Fifty Fifty Brewing and record the crossover event of the season, a combination ski bum podcast and the All About Après Rogue Report.
