Society's Love For Craft Beer and Golf
Craft beer is king right now (sorry Budweiser). It seems that wherever you go, a new craft brewery has popped up. It's almost as if every town has one, which is great because I'd rather visit a brewery when I travel as opposed to than the Dunkin' Donuts that appears on every street corner. To go along with society's newfound love for craft beer, they also seem to enjoy golf too. This portion of the golf-loving population includes me. As annoying as this game can be, at times, there is always something that brings us all back to the course. Perhaps it's the one great shot you hit from the trees that managed to make it to the green. Or maybe, actually more than likely, it's the lineup of craft beer that you'll be enjoying with your friends at the clubhouse bar. That's where the real fun begins and the aggravation ends. That is unless you are playing in the New England Craft Beer Open.

The New England Craft Beer Open elevates golf to new heights by rolling society's love of craft beer into one amazing golf tournament. Gone are the days where you have to wait for the 19th hole to taste those delicious brews that you so crave during your round. There is a variety of brews available throughout the round, leaving no doubt that this is the craft beer drinkers golf tournament. On September 29, golf and craft beer lovers alike will all converge upon Sugarbush Resort Golf Club for what promises to be an incredible day on the golf course. Food, brews, games and, more than likely, a whole lot of lost golf balls will keep you occupied during the day. Then when your round is over, party on for as long as you like at the 19th hole. Talk about kicking off your training for après-ski season with a bang.

The best part is that all profits from the event go to support the Cystic Fibrosis Lifestyle Foundation (CFLF). So at least your debauchery is for a good cause. So if you are into philanthropy and also happen to love craft beer and golf this is the prime event of the fall for you.
