Powder Mountain Adds a New Aprés Ski Experience at Bower Lodge - All About Apres Ski

Powder Mountain’s Après Scene Heats Up at Bower Lodge

Powder Mountain, Utah is not a misnomer. Ask anyone who has skied there and they'll tell you that Powder Mountain is true to its name. With 8,484 skiable acres, Pow Mow boasts the most skiable acres in North America. Add in that they get an average of 500" of snow annually and you can instantly understand why it's all in the name.

With that much acreage filled with secret pow stashes, open bowls and even perfect corduroy right there for the taking, visitors are likely to work up an appetite. Powder Mountain's name may get you to the mountain but now they're giving you a reason to stay and hang a little bit longer.

Don’t let your fun end on the slopes!

This ski season enjoy the Powder Mountain aprés-ski experience at Bower Lodge for those wanting to let the good times roll a little longer.

Essential Tools and Tips for Making the Most of Your Powder Mountain Adventure

With 8,484 acres of terrain and some of the deepest snow in North America, it’s easy to lose track of time exploring every hidden stash and untouched bowl at Powder Mountain. But once the lifts stop spinning, you’ll want to transition seamlessly from powder turns to pints at Bower Lodge. These essential tools and tips will help you make your trip as smooth, stress-free, and satisfying as those first tracks on a bluebird day.

Plan Your Powder and Your Après
Powder days are gold at Pow Mow, but so are your après moments. Use Trip.com to find the best lodging and transportation options in the Ogden Valley, leaving more budget (and energy) for chef-driven eats and craft cocktails at Bower Lodge.

Get Around with Ease
From your condo or rental to the slopes and back to après, you’ll want an easy way to move around the mountain. Rentalcars.com helps you find the best rates so you can explore everything Powder Mountain and nearby Eden have to offer—without waiting on shuttles.

Protect Your Powder Chase
Utah storms can roll in fast (and that’s part of the fun), but they can also cause travel hiccups. Visitors Coverage offers travel insurance that gives you peace of mind so you can focus on chasing fresh tracks, not rescheduling flights.

Add More Mountain Experiences
Beyond skiing, Viator.com can help you book unique experiences—like snowshoe tours, snowcat adventures, or whiskey tastings in Ogden—adding another layer to your Powder Mountain getaway.

Stay Close to the Action
Whether you’re looking for a slope-side stay or a cozy mountain cabin, VRBO has options that keep you near the lifts and Bower Lodge. That means when après kicks off with pizza, pints, and live music, you’re just a short walk (or stumble) away.

With these tools and tips, your Powder Mountain trip can be as effortless as it is epic—from untouched powder turns to après perfection at Bower Lodge. So pack smart, ski hard, and stay a little longer… you’ve definitely earned that cocktail.

New this season at Powder Mountain, Aprés at Bower Lodge is the perfect place to socialize with old friends and meet new ones. On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays skiers and snowboarders can head on in from 3 pm-10 pm and partake in an eclectic menu complete with chef-driven dishes and creative craft cocktails

The menu will feature delicious dishes such as asparagus fries with lemon aioli and rosemary salt; asian sticky ribs topped with scallions, lemon zest and crispy garlic; and an assortment of flatbreads including three cheese, basil pesto, pepperoni and ricotta prosciutto.

No aprés is complete without a refreshing beverage or two. To complement its new menu, Powder Mountain will be serving up a new selection of craft cocktails as unique as the dishes themselves.

Featured cocktails include the Rick Rambis, made with tequila, mezcal, mango, lemon tamarind and soda topped with a mango salt rim; or the Gnar-groni made with bosuns navy strength gin, water pocket meade and ransom sweet vermouth.

Pizza and Pints Night Highlight Powder Mountain Aprés Ski

Aprés ski on the weekends sounds perfect. But, what do you do if you find yourself at Powder Mountain and it's not a weekend? No worries, they have you covered on that front as well as their Pizza and Pints night returns with a twist.

Who doesn't love a good slice of pizza and a frosty beverage after a day of shredding that much pow?

UMMMM...no one!

In the past, Pizza and Pints was an all-you-can-eat buffet of pizza, wings and salad paired with a tap takeover from a local brewery. This winter, the Bower Lodge is mixing it up. Yes, Pizza and Pints Night will still maintain its tap takeover component...getting rid of that would be blasphemy. However, now, instead of a buffet, it will feature a new a-la-carte menu and table service on Thursday nights.

This should ultimately create an environment that is easier, safer and more relaxing for the consumer.
