A Mountain Town Approach To Social Distancing

As the cold weather and snow starts to settle in breweries and restaurants are faced with solving one big question: How do we create extra (warm) seating options while still following social distancing guidelines? 10 Barrel Brewing, an après ski mainstay in Bend, Oregon, has decided to tackle this problem head on with a unique take on outdoor dining in the winter.

10 Barrel didn't just throw up a tent and some additional heaters for outdoor dining. Instead, they came up with an idea that not only facilitates social distancing but is also a one-of-a-kind experience for friends, fans & the 10 Barrel community. Now you can drink their famous Pray for Snow beer in their new Pub Huts.

Inspired by the warming huts we all know, love (and sometimes direly need) on the mountain; these custom-designed ‘Pub Huts’ are roomy enough for 8-10 of your closest Quarantine crew. Each hut comes dialed with old school ski decor, kitchen-to-hut service, and a centrally located fire pit. One is even pimped out with OG Mount Bachelor trail signs giving it a real authentic look.

Open all winter long on the Westside Pub Patio, these huts just add another element of fun to the winter experience. So much so that you'll feel just like you’re sipping on your beer at the top of the mountain.

All About Après Ski Gear Helps Keep You Warm

We expect that the fire pit will help keep you warm as you drink and dine, however, you could probably still use an additional layer of warmth.
