Oxbow Brewing, brewer of some of All About Apres' favorite apres ski beers will be hosting their annual farmhouse celebration, A Celebration of Local Beer, Music, Art and Food.
September 22, 2016 (Newcastle, ME) – Oxbow Brewing Company’s 6th annual farmhouse celebration will take place on Saturday, October 22nd from noon – to 5 PM at the Oxbow Brewery located in Newcastle (274 Jones Woods Road). The annual event will feature an impressive line up of Oxbow beer, music, art, food and much more.
To compliment an amazing variety of Oxbow farmhouse ales on tap, popular Portland restaurants will head north to serve up a diverse selection of artisanal eats. Attendees will enjoy authentic food provided by Hella Good Tacos; Highroller Lobster Co.; The Honey Paw (modern Asian); Mami (Japanese); Otter Cove Farms (fresh oysters); Tandem Coffee & Bakery; Terlingua (bbq/southwestern) and The Uproot Pie Co. (wood fired pizza made from local ingredients).
Oxbow’s Brewery is located on 18 acres and tours of the property will take place throughout the event. In addition to the Brewery and Tasting Room, the property also includes recreational trails through the woods that are open to the public for hiking, mountain biking, skiing and snowshoeing.
There is also a pond for swimming and skating, a fruit orchard and a farm raising chickens, guinea hens, pigs and Dizzy, the famous and well-loved Oxbow Brewery cat. Picnic tables enable customers to enjoy fresh draft beer and food in a unique and beautiful setting.
