I'm a sucker for a good festival, and tis the season. Food, brews, and tunes...is there any reason not to like festivals? I think not, especially when they are as established as this weekend's 17th Annual Festival of the Brewpubs at Arapahoe Basin.

There is no doubt that this is the kick off party of the summer and where you need to be this Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. Grab yourself a commemorative mug, and head on over to Mountain Goat Plaza at A-Basin to sample craft beer from breweries from all over Summit County, Colorado and beyond. With the likes of excellent breweries such as Telluride Brewing, Crooked Stave, Hogshead Brewing and more you'll definitely get your sudsy fill. But be careful not to drink too much without saving room for a healthy sampling some of the delectable delights from the accompanying food stations. All, of course, while you're jamming to the funky, bluesy tunes of Mojomama. If Aretha Franklin and Steely Dan had a love child this would be it.
