Upslope Brewing Announces the Second Annual Backcountry Tap Room Experience
BOULDER, Colorado (September 15, 2016) — Upslope Brewing Company, the Boulder-based craft brewery with a passion for the outdoors, is proud to announce its second annual Backcountry Tap Room. This one-of-a-kind experience brings craft beer fans and outdoor enthusiasts a limited release beer served in a rustic, pop-up tap room on a mountainside in Colorado’s backcountry.
The 2016 Backcountry Tap Room will be held at Vance's Cabin in the Red Cliff area of Colorado’s wilderness on Saturday, October 1, 2016, accessible by a three-mile hike on the Ski Cooper Trail up to 11,000 feet. The event will occur from 11:00am – 5:00pm MST, and will serve as the exclusive release of Upslope’s limited Fresh Hop IPA, an installment of their rotating Tap Room Series. This beer, a style synonymous with fall, was brewed with 400 pounds of fresh, Colorado-local Nugget & Cascade hops and comes in at 7% abv.
“Founded on the love of good beer in the great outdoors, Upslope is all about capping off great adventure where it happens, when it happens,” says Upslope Marketing Manager, Katie Hill. “There’s no better way to actually live that idea and share our brand culture than with an outdoor tap room situated in the beauty of the mountains, sipping beers at 11,000 feet.”
Upslope packages their beers entirely in cans to make them an easy addition to any backpack for those après moments, ideal for packing in and out of the mountains or any adventure. The Backcountry Tap Room provides Upslope drinkers a chance to experience Upslope beer where it’s best enjoyed – an outdoor setting with a picturesque backdrop that’s perfect for toasting to fall.
Attendees will receive one complimentary 19.2 ounce can of Upslope’s Fresh Hop IPA and up to two 12 ounce cans of Upslope’s year-round styles. There will be games, a community grill and leashed furry friends are welcome.
