I get it, you're missing ski season. Unless, you are one of the few who are still out there shredding the late spring gnar at the small number of resorts across America that are still open. Me? Nah, I've moved on for now and have begun my countdown until next ski season. Sure I miss it, but there is so much great stuff going on across that country, that is not snow related to take advantage of. Après everything kind of stuff that will help pass the time until those little white flakes start falling again.
Snowbasin Resort's Sunday Funday
Snowbasin Resort is, once again, doing its part by hosting their Fifth Anniversary Blues, Brews and BBQ FREE Summer Concert series. If you have never been, this series takes Sunday Funday to epic levels. Every Sunday from June 11 to September 24 from 12:30 to 5:30 on the patio at Earl's Lodge, live music will fill the mountain air amidst the scents of yummy BBQ and tasty craft beers. Perfect timing to head out for an early morning hike or ride to earn your savory après and then relax on the patio and take in beautiful mountain view while sampling award winning BBQ dishes.
Snowbasin's Blues, Brews and BBQ Reaches New Heights For Its Fifth Anniversary
This being Snowbasin's fifth anniversary, they have really gone all out with a 32 oz. 5th anniversary mug to drink your brews from and more food vendor options like street style tacos to go along with their award winning house BBQ. They've also stepped up their music lineup for the summer. "I think we put pressure on ourselves to really take the lineup to a whole new level. We took some risks we might not have in years past and basically said, forget about the risk a little and focus on the possibilities. We loaded up each and every week. We have bands playing support this year that I would have no problem headlining any of our shows. We knew we had to exceed expectations and I think we have done that," says Jason Ostler, Dining and Entertainment Manager. Sam's Big Funky Nation kicks off the festivities on the 11th and the music continues all summer long with this lineup:
