Mexican Logger, the Ideal Summer Beer
Cinco de Mayo is here and with it, so is the return of Mexican Logger from Ska Brewing. One of my personal favorites from Ska, Mexican Logger has won multiple awards including medals at the Great American Beer Festival including in the International Style Pilsner category the last two seasons. Awards are great and all, but this beer just flat out delivers the goods. It is the perfect session beer for summer. Crisp and thirst quenching, it's ideal for hanging on the beach or in the back yard throwing bags. That same light nature also happens to pair really well with one of my favorite food groups...barbecue.
More Mexican Logger Now Available
Originally brewed back in 1999, Mexican Logger is always a top seller for Ska Brewery. This year, to keep up with demand, Ska has increased it's output by 20% to make Mexican Logger more readily available to it's raving fans. With six packs having already hit shelves a month ago, you can also find Mexican Logger in Ska Brewing's new mixed twelve pack which includes another one of my favorite summer bbq beers, Modus Mandarina as well as the regulars True Blonde and Pinstripe. Also thanks to Ska's increased capacity they will be brewing a tart version of Mexican Logger, set to hit stores just in time for the summer.
