What happens when the best snowboarders in craft beer and the nation's leading snowboard media company come together like Voltron? You get a collab beer that embodies the essence of making epic turns in pure powder bliss known as the white room. Yes, that's right Melvin Brewing and The Snowboarders Journal have gone into the Whit Room and come out with a new Belgian-style White Ale.
This limited edition brew made it's grand appearance a few weeks ago at Mount Baker's Legendary Bank Slalom and is currently being regionally distributed in the Pacific Northwest. It will also be available on taps in the region at Melvin Brewing Bellingham, Mckay’s Taphouse, The Filling Station, Rudy’s Pizzeria and Twentieth Century Bowl.
This new brew is a smooth and fresh drinking white ale that comes at you with a face shot of citrus flavor only experienced in the whit, I mean white room. At only 5.8% it's worth popping open a few on the chairs while headed back up. Or, just wait until you've left the white room, after fully earning it, and heading to après. Either way, it is clear that the Whit Room is inspired and crafted for every rider in the Pacific Northwest that dreams about shredding really deep pow.
