An All About Après top choice for skiing and riding's best après ski beers.
The ski season is all but over as many ski resorts across the country have either had their closing weekend or will have it within the coming weeks. It's always sad when it ends but its absence brings with it a new focus on other fun outdoor activities like biking and hiking. Not to be left out, these activities need après beers too. No matter how you earn them, the après everything brewery, Upslope, has got you covered with their lineup of tasty outdoor inspired craft beers.
This spring, Upslope is branching out to include what will become the first of their new line of annual experimental IPA's. These limited release craft beers will highlight the brewery's commitment to experimenting with specific, hand selected hops varieties. The 2017 edition is the first beer in the lineup and is brewed with Mosaic, Idaho 7 and Lemondrop hops which combined give this IPA a fruit forward aroma and flavor. This well-balanced beer is my kind of IPA. Dominated up front by peach and melon flavors and finishing with an herbal tea-like component it is very drinkable and quite a refreshing. That makes it the perfect compliment to any outdoor activity, especially those that end with you at a bar over a plate of spicy hot wings and some blue cheese on the side. Just saying.
