If you haven't been to Cape Cod, you should probably put that on your agenda. It's one America's most beautiful locations. A place that you think only exists in movies but those idyllic clam huts, shingled cottages and white sand beaches...they are real. Movie-esque scenery like this is the basis of "The Cape's" remarkable allure offering up a magnetic draw that once on Cape Cod turns into a fun family adventure.
Cape Cod Has a Little Something for Everyone
There is a little something for everyone on The Cape. Want to spend your day wandering the streets of a charming beach town while visiting quaint local shops? You absolutely can. Would you rather relax on a beautiful beach reading a book while listening to the waves hit the shore? They have that too. Or, maybe you are the adventurous type, looking to hike, bike and fish? Well, you're in luck because it's all there for the taking.Plenty of Beach Bars Makes The Cape an Après Surf Paradise
Perks - Harwich, MA

With a name like Perks, you would probably associate this restaurant/bar with breakfast and, quite honestly, you wouldn't be wrong. Established in 2010, Perks serves up an excellent cup of coffee as well as some simple yet creative breakfast dishes. But as my wife likes to say, the best days are when you go right from coffee to beer and you can certainly do this at Perks. Their outdoor bar features plenty of local craft beer that can be paired with their equally creative lunch and dinner menu. Head there in the afternoon and without realizing you will find yourself there for hours enjoying everyone's company while playing tiki toss and cornhole to pass the time with ease.
Chatham Bars Inn - The Beach House - Chatham, MA
The Chatham Bars Inn is a very high-end resort that never seems to be overcrowded. There are many restaurants and bars here to choose from but our favorite is The Beach House. You'll find it challenging to pass up the lobster roll and if you are only going once then that should be your choice. Or, perhaps split it with a loved one and also get the swordfish tacos. They are equally outrageous. Local beers on tap continues to be the name of the game but we wouldn't fault you if you paired your dinner with a nice wine from their extensive list. Either way, you'll enjoy it all while taking in the best view on the cape, looking out on the famous bars, where you can bet there are Great Whites lurking around.

Hog Island Brewery - Orleans, MA

Given my affinity for good craft beer, it should come as no surprise that Hog Island Brewery made our list. Relatively new to the Cape Cod scene Hog Island brewery is the Cape's outermost brewery. Situated on Hog Island they have plenty of outdoor space for you to enjoy their many craft beers while taking in the picturesque view of Nauset Beach. There are also plenty of games to occupy your time and inside there is even a stage for the live music that they book regularly.
The Beachcomber - Wellfleet, MA

The Beachcomber's popularity goes without saying, but I’ll say it anyway. It's amazing! So much so that it is not uncommon to see many people wearing their shirts around The Cape. With a history that dates back 42 years and includes multiple appearances on top 10 lists in a variety of reputable publications, this comes as no surprise. Housed in a former U.S. lifesaving station with an outdoor bar that overlooks the Atlantic Ocean the view is the ideal complement to their tasty food. Bring the whole family and enjoy every bit of this during the day, hell they even have cottages on site that you can rent for your week. This is the perfect option if you want to send those kiddos home and enjoy the live music afterhours. Told you this place was amazing.
Regardless of which one of these amazing Cape Cod beach bars you choose to visit (one or all) you cannot go wrong. They are fun, family oriented and the epitome of our All About Après lifestyle.

You forgot to include Land Ho! in Orleans. Huge beer selection, great roast beef sandwiches, and the best blueberry pie….. and I hate blueberries.
