Stop 1: Cuzzins at Mount Snow, Vermont

The Wildest Après Party in the East

Start your journey in Vermont at Mount Snow’s Cuzzins Bar & Grill. This classic ski bar has been an après institution for years, offering a high-energy atmosphere, great pub food and an awesome selection of local craft beers. However, if you really want to see Cuzzins at it's height, then you must, must, must visit on a Saturday mid-winter.  Saturday afternoons are when Bruce Jacques takes the stage and this bar really comes alive. The dancing on the floor, or should I say tables and chairs gets rowdy, the drinks flow and it becomes an all-out après ski party filled with sing-a-longs and good vibes.

Where to Stay: The Grand Summit Resort is slopeside and puts you right in the action. There are also a wide variety of vacation rentals in the area to choose from.

Travel Tip: Book your accommodations at Mount Snow Booking.com and be sure to do them early for weekends—Bruce Jacques’ performances are a huge draw!

Stop 2: Pig Pen Saloon at Park City Mountain Resort, Utah

Chill Vibes, a Shot and a T-Shirt

Next, hop a flight to Utah and head to Park City, home to the sprawling Park City Mountain Resort. The Pig Pen Saloon is a laid-back après spot with a prime slope-side location. Grab one of their famous Shot and T-Shirt deals and relax on the outdoor deck with a local brew while watching skiers wrap up their day. The friendly crowd and tasty bites (get the nachos!) make it a perfect après-ski hangout.

Where to Stay: The Hyatt Centric Park City is a short walk to Canyons Village. It has a high end feel without all of the pomp and circumstance that comes with other hotels of similar stature.

Book your flight to Park City on CheapOair today.

Travel Tip: Take advantage of Park City’s free public transportation to hop between bars and restaurants in town.

Stop 3: The Red Lion at Vail, Colorado

Live Music & Legendary Nachos

No Epic Pass après ski tour would be complete without a stop at The Red Lion in Vail. This iconic bar is an institution in Vail village and has been serving up après action since the ‘60s. It is famous for its live music, lively crowd and massive plates of nachos that are arguably the best I've ever had. Pair that with a cold pint of Colorado craft beer, and you’ve got yourself a perfect après experience.

Where to Stay: The Solaris Residences have a prime location just above Solaris Plaza in Vail Village. They are on the pricier side but are totally worth it, especially if you have a family or two with you. With a view of the ice skating rink below and Vail Brewing Company in just next door you simply cannot go wrong.

Travel Tip: Get to the Red Lion early in peak season if you want a seat—this place fills up fast, especially on weekends.

Stop 4: The Foggy Goggle at Seven Springs, Pennsylvania

The Foggy Goggle Seven Springs Ski Resort

Pennsylvania’s Best Après Scene

If you find yourself skiing in the Mid-Atlantic, the Foggy Goggle at Seven Springs Resort is an absolute must. It has the best après ski atmosphere in Pennsylvania and maybe even in the East. With DJs and live bands on weekends, the crowd can get rowdy and knows how to keep the party going. Their manhole size plate of nachos can rival that of The Red Lion's and there is even axe throwing in house to work it all off.

Where to Stay: The Seven Springs Resort Hotel is the most convenient option and often has package deals. It's a no brainer. You are on site and with a bowling alley, tubing, ice skating and more, you have never seen so much to do in one place.

Travel Tip: Stick around for late-night live music—it gets even more fun after dark.

Stop 5: Ptarmigan’s Pub at Attitash, New Hampshire

Cozy, Classic New England Après

For a more low-key but equally fun après experience, head to Ptarmigan’s Pub at Attitash in New Hampshire. This spot is quintessential New England après ski at it's finest. The cozy lodge is a great place to wind down and meet friendly locals who love to share ski stories over a beer. It’s a great place to hang slope-side at the end of your day.

Where to Stay: You can't get more convenient than the townhouses in Attitash Village. Located directly across the street you are just a short walk away from getting first tracks.

Travel Tip:  Get there early on a sunny day and secure your spot on the deck. Nothing beats chilling on the deck with a brew and listening to one of the many bands they host throughout the season.

Stop 6: The Coyote Cafe at Beaver Creek, Colorado

Best Tequila Selection in Town

Heading back to Colorado, The Coyote Cafe at Beaver Creek is a hidden gem for après enthusiasts. The Coyote Cafe is not  the type of bar that you would expect from a resort that is known for its high-end appeal. However, it is a must visit when there. Located an escalator ride away from the base of the mountain, it is known for its impressive tequila selection, killer tacos and lively atmosphere. It’s also a favorite among locals and ski patrollers alike, which is always a good sign.

Where to Stay: The Osprey at Beaver Creek is just steps from the lifts and après action.

Travel Tip: Try their margaritas! They’re very creative (one is named Hot N'Horny) and highly tasty, making them some of the best in the Rockies.
