The Great Chicken Wing Throwdown

It's hard to go wrong with chicken wings at apres ski especially when those chicken wings are part of a contest whose proceeds go to a good cause. This will be the exact scenario when Aspen's The Little Nell hosts  The Great Chicken Wing Throwdown from 5 – 9 p.m. on Thursday, March 23, at the Sundeck. Known for its philanthropy, the town of Aspen is always looking to support organizations such as Lift-Up, Feed My Sheep, Stepping Stones and The Aspen Homeless Shelter in order to help the area's less fortunate. To aid in the cause, The Little Nell has partnered with Hotel Jerome, The St. Regis Aspen, Jazz Aspen Snowmass, Aspen Snowmass and Alchemy Audio Visual to present this amazing spring event.

The Great Chicken Wing Throwdown will be all kinds of fun, featuring music by Karl Denson's Tiny Universe as the headlining act and DJ Dylan, food, drink and, of course that amazing apres ski food, chicken wings. Aspen area chefs will be competing for the title of best chicken wings in town with a trophy going to the winner.

However, the real winners are those who need this support. “For all of these local businesses to come together and form a coalition to support our local community truly is remarkable,” noted Simon Chen, Managing Director for The Little Nell. “There are an increasing number of people that need assistance in within our valley,” he continued. “In our day-to-day life, as a society, we may not be aware of these needs, but they are very much a part of our community. In contributing our resources to help these individuals get back on their feet, we can all make a difference.”

Don't miss your opportunity to make a difference. Tickets are available online now - included with your ticket price are chicken wings, gourmet sides, beer and wine, with a full cash bar available.
