Park City, Utah is dubbed Winter's Favorite Town for a reason. Actually, it's for a variety of reasons. Park City is home to two of our country's best ski resorts - Park City Ski Resort and Deer Valley. It also offers visitors the ability to participate in a variety of other activities and finish their day amidst the amazing shops, restaurants and bars located on Main Street. With so many options to choose from the park city après ski and nightlife scene ranks right up near the top.

From fancy resort bars to divey local watering holes and everywhere in between, après ski in Park City, Utah has a little something for everyone.

Need some help choosing?

Here are 7 of our top picks for the best après ski in Park City.

Legendary Park City Après Ski

High West Distillery:

Take a look at any 'best of' après ski list and you would be hard-pressed to find one that does not include High West Distillery and Saloon on it. Located just off Main Street next to the town lift and at the base of Park City Mountain's Quittin' Time trail, it is the world's only ski-in gastro distillery.

At one point in time, this was where High West made all their award-winning whiskeys including their famous Campfire, a unique blend of bourbon, scotch and rye. Now, due to demand, production has moved elsewhere and what remains is a hopping restaurant and bar.

Housed in an old livery stable the atmosphere alone will draw you in with a touch of the old west. You must experience it yourself to truly appreciate the ambiance but think exposed wooden beams and the look of an old time saloon.

Once inside, the creative craft cocktails and delicious food will make you Park City apres last for hours on end. Their chicken wings are some of the best that I've ever had and the burger is an absolute must!

No Name Saloon

No Name Saloon

This town hot spot may have no name but it has certainly made a name for itself as one of the most popular spots for Park City, Utah nightlife. In fact, it may have put this ski town on the map.

You can certainly start there after your day on the mountain but it's later in the evening when the No Name Saloon starts to go off.

Their Buffalo Burger is famous for a reason. It's that good. Wash it all down with local beers as your eyes wander from wall to ceiling to wall checking out all the stuff they have hanging from it. From taxidermy to motorcycles and even a toilet bowl or 10 it redefines what can be considered wall art.

For Those Who Like Their Park City Après Ski Fancy

St. Regis Deer Valley

The St. Regis Deer Valley

The St. Regis Deer Valley does après ski in Park City like they do everything else - on another level. This ski in ski out hotel redefines extravagance. The lobby hosts a free hot chocolate bar every afternoon. Head right there and top yours with everything from whipped cream to toffee chips.

The Bloody Mary at the St. Regis Bar has its own legendary status, as well it should. The original version of the Bloody Mary was created way back when at the New York City St. Regis. Now each location puts its own creative spin on this classic cocktail. For example, the one in Park City is topped with wasabi celery foam. As I said...they do things on another level here.

Just when you thought that was all, you won't want to miss the champagne sabering. Go for a ride on the funicular up to the top and watch as the bartender takes to action, slicing off the end of the bottle and pouring a round for the entire patio.

The Après Lounge Montage

Nothing says bougie après ski in Park City like a venue sponsored by Veuve Clicquot Champagne.  Located slopeside at Deer Valley, right behind the Montage resort your eyes will be drawn to this bright yellow Veuve Clicquot après ski yurt as you come down to the bottom of Empire Mountain.

Park your skis and head inside to find the Après Lounge. It is both cozy and luxurious all in one. Kick off your ski boots and relax on one of their plush fur couches. Then order yourself some gourmet tuna tartar, cheese and/or charcuterie while you sip your champagne. The Veuve Clicquot Après Ski Yurt at Deer Valley is the ultimate on-mountain luxury après ski in Park City.

Best Après Ski Park City That's Outdoors

The Umbrella Bar Park City

The Umbrella Bar

If outdoor après and a fun, lively crowd is your thing then there is no better place in Park City than the Umbrella Bar. Located in the heart of The Canyons Village, click out of your skis and walk right on over from the base of the Red Pine Gondola. On the colder days, the circular bar remains encased in glass. When the temps warm and the windows go up, this open-air bar is the place to be.

This is especially true during Park City Ski Resort's annual Spring Gruv concert series. Each weekend you can enjoy local and national music acts as you sip local brews and nosh on tasty wings and burgers. The bar itself is for 21 and older so be ready to party, but you won't have to worry too much about the kids. They'll probably have their own good time hanging on the grass and dancing to the music.

Kids Just Wanna Have Fun

The Champions Club

The Champions Club at the Stein Eriksen Lodge is the spot if you have kids. Stein Eriksen Lodge is known for its luxurious accommodations and top-notch service but they haven't forgotten to make it fun for the kids. The Champions Club's 3500 square foot entertainment center includes a wide variety of games both new and old school.

The casual dining area fits the scenery which on any given day includes parents ordering a drink from the full-service bar and then joining their children in a game or two. Not to mention that, at any time, you could walk right upstairs to the awesome Troll Hallen Lounge for a peek at their equally amazing après ski menu. Chances are you probably won't since you'll be having so much fun kicking your kid's butt in air hockey but it's certainly worth it if you so choose.

If Live Music is Your Thing

The Spur Bar and Grill

You want your Park City après ski experience to include live music? You got it! The Spur is always live...literally. They have live music every single night! Musicians of multiple genres (country, blues, rock, bluegrass) come from all over the country to rock this local institution.

The atmosphere at The Spur is a unique combination of comfortable western chic. Their food is available all day (yes, they serve breakfast) and is damn good. If they still serve the jambalaya Mac and cheese you must, must, must order this comfort food delight. Then wash it down with a wide array of local, regional and national beers on tap or their own whiskey, a collaboration between them and local distiller Alpine
